Joe Ross

Joe Louis Ross, age 69 passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 after a brief illness. Joe was born in Ashland, Mississippi on December 20, 1949 to Ambus and Alvelce (Barber) Ross. He gave his life to Christ at an early age. Joe graduated from Ashland High School then attended Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi. He was later drafted into the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. Joe later moved to Columbus, Ohio and worked for Kroger Bakery Corporation for many years prior to launching a thriving antique business. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, wife Wendy Ross and brother Johnnie B. Ross. Left to cherish his memory are; sons Joe Hunt, Derek Knight-Ross, Joshua Ross and Jordian Ross, brothers James (Ruth) Ross, Willie Ross, sisters Mary Ann Broomfield and Annie Harrell, 5 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and a host of other family and friends
