Joseph David Froehle passed away on December 22, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. Joseph was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 8, 1950. He graduated from Piqua Catholic High School in 1969. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and June, and by his sister, Jean, who welcomed him with open arms on his journey home. He will be remembered as a devoted father, a proud grandfather, a loyal brother, and a man whose humor and warmth left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
Born with a generous heart and a quick wit, Joseph built a life centered around family, laughter, and simple joys. He was deeply devoted to his sons — Joseph, Benjamin, and Wilton — who were the pride of his life. His grandsons, David and Benjamin Jr., brought him immeasurable happiness, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Joseph leaves behind seven siblings, each of whom shared a unique and treasured bond with him. His family will forever remember his contagious sense of humor, his ability to make others feel at ease, and the way he showed up for the people he loved.
A lifelong sports fan, Joseph found joy in cheering for the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, celebrating every win and staying loyal through every loss. His enthusiasm for his teams was as steady as his love for his family.Joseph’s legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired, the stories he leaves behind, and the deep love he poured into those closest to him.
