He was a lifelong Harley rider and outdoors person.  Everyone loved Joes sense of humor, lectures and Idealisms. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Joe was an accomplished chef, a master carpenter, SCUBA diver and loved his time at the camper at Lake Erie. He was a life member of ABATE of Ohio, MRF, AMA, NRA and Moose Member.

His wife Robin Pickens, brothers Tom (Vicky) Pickens and Steve (Dori) Pickens along with his wife’s family would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the family and friends that have supported us in the very trying time.

At this time there will be a private family service and we will be hosting a Celebration of Life in August.
