Joy Bowen

Joy Kay Bowen passed away on July 23, 2021, in Jackson, Ohio. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to Wendell and Beverly Bowen. Joy is survived by her daughter Amber, her sisters Vicki Moore and Marla Dicken, and niece and nephew Ricky and Tabitha.

Joy was a caring person who loved being around and taking care of her animals. She had far too many to list. Joy also worked at JC Penny for over 25 years helping countless people over the years. She enjoyed crocheting in her free time. Joy was very loving and a great mother.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday August 3, at 12:00 pm at the Shaw-Davis Clintonville Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Joy will be buried at Asbury Cemetery following the funeral service.
