Judith (Pinney) Hinkle

Judith (Pinney) Hinkle, 87, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2026. Born May 1st, 1939, in Columbus, Ohio. Throughout her career, Judith worked for API Security as an office manager, Quest Telecommunications (formerly known as LCI), North Methodist Church, and Rutherford Corbin Funeral Home as a secretary. She was a graduate of North High School and attended Ohio State University for 2 years. Judith was a member of the OES Worthington Chapter, Ladies Oriental Shrine, D.A.R., Worthington Presbyterian Church, and Worthington Methodist Church.

Judith is preceded in death by her parents: Byrl and Dorothy (Curren) Shoemaker, husbands: Abner N. Pinney and Robert L. Hinkle, and grandson Ricky Diamond. She is survived by her children: Edward (Cyndi) Johnston and Cindy (Eric) Adams, grandchildren: Shawn (Cayla) Johnston, David Johnston, Nicole (Carter) McGary, Jamie Tuthill, Jennifer Diamond, and Jessica Diamond. Also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, brother Gary, (Donna), sister Carole, past (Rollin), and 5 nieces.

Services will take place at the Shaw-Davis Clintonville Chapel, 4341 North High Street Columbus, Ohio 43214, on Saturday August 8th, 2026. Visitation will be held from 9am to 11am with a Funeral Service to follow. Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
