June Marlene Krizo

June M. (McCurdy) Krizo, 87, went home to be with the Lord, June 20, 2023.  She was born June 23, 1935 to the late Ernest and Floda McCurdy, Akron Ohio.  She was a member of The Chapel in Akron where she loved teaching the 4-5yr old children in Sunday School.  The last 5 years she attended Linworth Baptist Church, Columbus. 

June is preceded in death by her husband Rudolph L. Krizo, her parents, brother Robert McCurdy, sisters Jean Pete, Ruth Neumeyer, Doris Westfall, Joyce Milhoan, and Linda Nelson.  She is survived by her children, Tom (Janice) Krizo, and Denise (Joe) Stadler, 7 beloved grandchildren, Mathew (Erin) Krizo, Allison (Greg) Meyer, Kathryn (Tim) Shumaker, Laura (Jonathan) Shumaker, Steven (Nicole) Krizo, Christopher (Melody) Stadler, Lauren (Andy) Botts and 13 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The Funeral will be held Wednesday, June 28th at 3:00pm at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, 4341 North High Street, Columbus, OH. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 2pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.  Internment will take place at a later date at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron, OH.
