Justin Marquis Vinson

Justin Marquis Vinson was born on July 24, 1984, in Columbus, Ohio, to Michael Trumale White and Margaret Vinson. From an early age, Justin shined with natural creativity, charisma, and a bold spirit. Affectionately known as Crusha, he was a gentle giant teddy bear who exhibited confidence and loved to laugh. He loved Anime and gaming.

Educated in the Columbus City Schools District, he graduated from East Technical High School in Cleveland, Ohio, and later attended Job Corps to further his skills and personal development.

Justin was an incredibly talented artist from a very young age. Justin was an inspiring tattoo artist who saw his work as a profession and a calling. His entrepreneurial drive, creativity, and professionalism earned him respect and admiration, and his artistic legacy lives on through the many people he touched with his work.

He also had a voice that moved the soul. Justin loved to sing ballads and duets, and music remained one of his greatest joys throughout life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Trumale White; his sister, Jessica Ann Cowans-Roy; his maternal grandparents, Patricia Foster and Thomas Lapsley; and his paternal grandparents, LaMorn Gates and Henry White. Uncles Derrick and Russell White. Aunts Cheryl, Patricia, and Charlotte Vinson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Margaret Vinson Pringle; siblings, Antwonne (Laesha) Simon and Carolyn Cowans; close friends Tamara, Dix, and Stephanie Hatfield; beloved aunts Elizabeth Dupree, Beverly Vinson, Yolanda Pope, Kaamil Slaughter, and Niecy Davis; uncles Charles, Gregory, Thomas, Gary, and Creighton Vinson, Gregory, Manuel, and Craig White as well as his beloved Rukia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family who loved him dearly.

Per Justin’s wishes, there will be no funeral or viewing. A Memorial Gathering will be held later in Columbus, Ohio.
