Kathryn Ann Block

In Loving Memory of Kathryn Ann Ross Block, age 99, a devoted mother and wife, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jackson, Ohio on December 13, 1925, to Joel (Joseph) Ross and Pearl (Eisnaugle) Ross. Kathryn married the love of her life, her devoted husband of 63 years, Jack L. Block, in Columbus, Ohio, on August 17, 1946.  

She is preceded in death by her husband Jack L. Block, her parents, Joseph Ross and Pearl Dunlap, her brother Lloyd V. Ross and his wife Wilma Ross, and brother Glendon J. Ross and his wife Rae Ross. Kathryn is survived by her sons Steven (Brenda) Block of Ostrander, David (Judy) Block of Columbus, her grandchildren Bryan (Emily) Block, Columbus, and Brett Block (Lisa Cannon), Westerville, her sister-in-law Carol Vitale, Columbus and many nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, Victorian Village Chapel, 34 West Second Ave., Saturday, December 27 from 10:00 am-11:00 am.  A memorial service will immediately follow from 11:00 am-12:00 pm at the same location. Pastor Joel Baer officiating.
