Keith William Austin

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Keith William Austin, who after complications with cancer, departed this life on Sunday October 12, 2025 in Westerville, Ohio. Keith was born, January 20, 1960, in Clifton Forge, VA. Keith touched the hearts of everyone who knew him, leaving an indelible mark with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit.

He will be remembered for his compassion, sense of humor, and the warmth with which he welcomed everyone.

Keith loved sports, he was passionate about NASCAR racing, the Miami Dolphins and the West Virginia Mountaineers. He loved what he called “Junking”, knowing the local trash routes by heart he would find treasures to recondition and repurpose. He enjoyed spending time in West Virginia with his siblings every July, visiting his sons in Fl and relaxing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. He was always striving to help others and make the world a better place.

Preceded in death by his parents Bette Austin (O’Farrell) and Chester Austin as well as a brother Jimmy Austin. He is survived by his wife Robin Austin (Stinebring) Westerville, Ohio, his sons Travis Austin, Pompano Beach, FL, Brandon Austin, Pompano Beach, FL, Sister, Kathy Patterson (Rex) Lewisburg, WV, Shawn Austin (Brenda) Huntersville, NC, Jeffery Austin (Denise) Boynton Beach, FL and Scott Austin, Bradenton, FL , sister-in-law Sharon Bilowsky Doylestown, Ohio , many cousins, nieces and nephews who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives with the same kindness and courage he exemplified.

A memorial gathering is planned for a future date in Lewisburg, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choosing in Keith’s memory.

Keith will be deeply missed but will remain in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
