Kenneth S. Turner

Kenneth S. Turner, age 78, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026. He was born on August 12, 1947, to his parents, Everhart Turner and Ethel Snipes. He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Myron Turner and his brothers Robert Turner and Everhart Turner.

Kenneth passed away after a life of hard work, kindness, and service to others.

For over 30 years, Kenneth worked in the restaurant business and helped run Cibo’s Bistro in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He loved cooking, hospitality, and helping people feel welcome.

Kenneth was trained in culinary arts and was a member of the Manitoba Chef De Cuisine. He also taught many food service workers cooking skills and proper hospitality service.

Kenneth earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Urbana University in Urbana, Ohio. During college, he received honors including the Dean’s List, President’s List, and recognition from the Society of Distinguished Collegiate Americans.

He also received a Peer Award from the United States Department of Defense Finance and Accounting Service for excellent work and dedication.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory his best friend Patricia Turner. His final resting place will be Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens 5600 East Broad Street Columbus, OH 43213.
