Kim loved to dance, listen to music, and eat delicious organic food. She was a free-spirit who would dance at the drop of a hat, enjoy and heartily tip street performers, take adventures to scale rocks, hike on mountains and walk along the ocean. She loved artisan jewelry and supporting local artists. She had a flair for putting together bohemian, chic, colorful and beautiful outfits while on thrifting expeditions. She and her beau Bob would fly cross-country to see a band they loved, visit family and friends and always take in the natural scenery. Kim was a loving mother and a devoted daughter. She also adored and may have been guilty of over-pampering her cat, Luna.
Kim’s easy smile will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. And those of us who had the privilege to be in Kim’s orbit know what a gift she was.
Kim was predeceased by her husband of 29 years, Bryant Mason; and her father, Robert Thomas.
Kim is survived by her mother Veronica “Ronnie” Thomas; her son Alexander “Zander” Mason; her stepsons Jonathan (Elizabeth) Mason and Christopher (Jackie) Mason, her brother Jeffrey Thomas (Sandy Champagne); her nephew Adam Thomas (Brittany Martin); her half-brother, Michael Thomas; her beau, Bob Schneider; her grandchildren Joy, Melody, Samantha, Nathaniel, Ricardo and Lincoln; and many more extended and well-loved family members and dear friends.
Her ashes will be scattered in a private family ceremony at a later date.
