Kyle was a gifted athlete serving as a goalie for Columbus City Boys Prep earning the nickname “Megatron” and played football for the New Birth Warriors.  He also was a great bowler and won a scholarship for his efforts when he was five.

Kyle was an exceptionally skilled basketball player and a long-time member of the Clintonville Basketball Association; first as a player, then as a volunteer coach, and later supporter.  Kyle was praised the most for his effective defense and never giving up on a play. He especially enjoyed working with his cousin Eddie Days during his “For The Love” basketball training sessions.

Kyle was always a team player and showed great sportsmanship in any activity he joined.

His interests also fell outside the arena of sports.  He was a member of the Chess Club while at Indian Springs and he played the trumpet during his middle and high school years.  Kyle had a love of Anime, K-Pop, YuGiOh Cards and was gifted with anything related to computers, and the internet. Computer running slow, call Kyle. Internet running slow, call Kyle. Printer not printing call Kyle…who will repair our computers now? He also loved to shop, especially with Grandma Betty, because if he carried her bags, she was certain to buy him something for his “hard work”.  He liked going fishing with his grandma Judy, he really enjoyed the snacks.  And he always enjoyed spending time with his grandpa Kevan, especially when he could be in his office, using HIS computer.

Kyle was a blessing to his family and a joy to everyone who knew him.  He was a beautiful spirit with a warm contagious smile, and possessed a kind loving soul that will live on in the hearts of his mother, father, grandparents, brothers, extended family, and friends forever.  He will be truly missed by everyone who loved him.

He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 NKJ
