Lori Ann Frost

LORI ANN FROST Born Lori Ann Lamb.

Lori was grounded as much as a person could be. Though she was a private woman, she would always help anyone however she could. Her ears were always there for listening, and her shoulders would help bear the weight of troubles of others. Being family oriented, Lori was known for giving sound advice, revelations, and blunt honesty. Those who knew her could always count on cheerful banter, and thoughtful conversations.

Lori passed away June 20th 2024 at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus OH at the age of 60. She was born April 9th 1964 to Kathleen Harris and Donald Lamb in Newark OH. She would be the second eldest of six children, and a second mother to each of them growing up. Always striving to work hard and be there for others while finding herself along the way. 

In 1985 She had met and nurtured a loving relationship with Thomas J. Stapleton, resulting in the births of their two daughters, Amanda J. Stapleton (1987), and Misty D. Stapleton (1989). Even though Thomas had three sons from a previous relationship, Jeffery M. Stapleton (1977), Jeremy S. Stapleton (1980), and Dustin L. Stapleton (1984). Lori took to caring and raising them as her own while she was able. As well as caring for two sons from a previous marriage Shaun Frost (1988), and Gary A. Frost (1988-2022). They were all her children no matter what life had in store.

One of her in depth fascinations in life was researching and putting together family trees. She would spend hours and even days looking up relatives and stories of where her family began. Bringing together friends and family, sharing details and stories with such enthusiasm. Lending a helping hand to those who would ask for research assistance. Lori and her siblings would at times work endlessly going over family ties and bloodlines so the future generations to come could see how truly remarkable coming from one era to another could be.

Survived by, all of her children, Five siblings Donald N. Lamb (1962), George R. Lamb (1966), Penelope S. Schwamb (1965), Jeffery K. Lamb (1968), Becky J. Myers (1970). Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and precious grand-children Patience M. Stapleton (2005), and Sage T. O. Stapleton - Pennington (2016). Lori will be deeply and irreplaceably missed, but the love and life lessons she shared will continue to live on in all our hearts and memories.
