Lucinda "Cindy" D. Poehler Woll, age 72, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on December 28th, 2022 following complications from surgery.
She was born in Warren, Ohio on July 8th, 1950 to Wayne W. and Nancy D. Poehler, living most of her life in Warren.
She spent 20 years in Windsor, South Carolina and has spent the last year residing in Columbus, Ohio.
Cindy graduated from Warren G. Harding in June 1968.
She married her husband of nearly 52 years, Dennis E. Woll, July 31st, 1970 and gave birth to two children, Robyn and Michael.
She volunteered at her kids' schools until their graduation. She also worked at the Sandwich Factory in Niles for quite a few years. Most recently she was sewing piecework before retiring.
Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was a terrific and loyal friend to many. She loved to collect anything and everything Coca-Cola! She also loved hot air balloons and carousel horses. Cindy was a lover of life, and a fighter-beating pancreatic cancer twice! She loved spending time with Robyn, cruising the city and finding cool new places to eat.
Cindy leaves behind her daughter, Robyn Bates of Columbus, Ohio, with whom she made her home, and Bryan Pritchard, grandson also of Columbus, Ohio. She lovingly leaves behind her nieces and nephews, countless friends, "adopted" children, and their families.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Michael; her sister, Harriet; her son, Michael; and her husband, Dennis.
A memorial service will be held at the banquet room at Sunrise Inn (510 East Market St., Warren, OH. 44481) on Saturday, January 14th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, with a small service being held at 2:00pm.
