In Loving Memory of Maddison La’Raye Parker

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Maddison La’Raye Parker, on September 10, 2023, at 3:29 pm at the tender age of 29, she is preceded in death by Ms. Dianne Lewis (grandmother), Barkley H. Taylor(grandfather), Special Uncle Jonathan (HOTSAUCE) Williams, and Mrs. Ann Green(grandmother). Maddie's life was a radiant beacon of joy, love, and inspiration to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Maddie was born on October 14^th, 1993, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to her adoring parents, Thornton H. Taylor and Lee D. Parker. From the moment she entered this world, her sparkling eyes and infectious laughter captured the hearts of all who met her. Maddie grew up between Portsmouth, Ohio and Columbus, Ohio with her close-knit family, where her spirited personality and kind heart made her a cherished family/friend to many.

Maddie's passion for learning and her commitment to helping others were evident throughout her life. She graduated High School early with HONORS and worked at Brio Italian Restaurant in Columbus Ohio for many years.

Maddie’s passion for life was infectious. She had a love for her children that was truly remarkable and beautiful. She was the peacemaker, the light of our family, the lively one, the glue that always brought us back together, the love she held for her sisters and brothers was so special and that will be missed.  

Maddie is survived by her children, Jayden Xavier Lyles, and Jaiyanna Lee Lyles. She is also survived by Her Mother Lee D. Parker and Father Thornton H. Taylor (Special Mother-Billie L. Taylor), Her Brothers and Sisters- Erika Hudson, Jordan Keyes, Thornton Taylor II (Christina Jacobs), Taja Taylor ( Meghann Taylor), Tariq Taylor, Taliyah Taylor, and Yahsir Tucker, Special Step-Mother Tiauna Queen, Grandparents Jimmy Parker and Yvonne Taylor, Special grandparents Gail Queen, Elaine Ashley and Mike Newman, Aunts Courtney Parker, Raye Parker, Morgan Booker, Julie Summers (Mike Summers) and Special Aunt Susan Williams, Uncles Paul Taylor and Shane Newman (Christie Martin) , Nieces Carley Womack, Ryleigh Keyes, Bryton Underwood, Taja Taylor, Tariq Taylor II, Titus Taylor, and Amiah Crayton along with cousins Chris Parker, Camron Taylor, Malekai Booker, and Maryah Borges along with many numerous other cousins, Best Friend Kamiyla Auls, Special  friend Shelia Akers (Weiz) all of whom cherished her dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate Maddie's life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, Visitation time 3:00pm Service will start at 4:00pm at Pleasant Green Church 1421 Waller St. Portsmouth Ohio 45662. If you want to send flowers or arrangement, they can be sent to the church on the day of services. Anyone who wants to donate cook food for the family can contact Ms. Yvette Jordan (740-370-5050), If you want to donate money, we thank you from our hearts all arrangements have been taken care of so, we ask in Honor of Maddie you donate it to any local Domestic shelter for women, the homeless, treatment center etc. That’s what Maddie would want she loved helping others.

Maddie's radiant smile, unwavering kindness, and boundless love will forever remain in our hearts. She touched the lives of so many and left an indelible mark on the world. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful and compassionate soul that she was. May she rest in eternal peace, and may her memory continue to inspire us all to live with love, compassion, and purpose.
