A Beautiful Life, Forever Remembered
With profound sorrow and immeasurable love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother,
Margarita Capeles, who departed this life on September 11, 2026. She was our rock, our queen, and a
cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. To us, and to every person blessed to know her,
she was a constant source of love, comfort, laughter, strength, and light. She did not simply enter a room
- she illuminated it. Her beautiful, bubbly, infectious laugh could lift the heaviest heart, and her radiant
spirit shone brighter than the stars. She helped people from every walk of life and had a special way of
making others feel seen, welcomed, and cared for.
Born in Norwalk, Connecticut, Margarita was raised in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and graduated
from Cleveland Heights High School in 1985.
For 20 years, she proudly served her country through the Transportation Security Administration. She
loved her career and approached her work with honor, dedication, and an extraordinary work ethic. Her
service with the TSA Honor Guard reflected the dignity, pride, and commitment with which she lived. It
is especially meaningful to our family that she entered eternal rest on September 11 - a day forever
connected to the mission she served so faithfully.
Her greatest joy was her family, and being our mother was her proudest role. Her legacy will live on in
every life she touched, every person she helped, every laugh she inspired, and every act of kindness
carried forward in her name. Above all, it will endure in us - in the way we gather around one another,
check on each other, tell the stories she loved, and find reasons to laugh even through our tears. She
taught us that family is a lifelong promise: to show up, to forgive, to give generously, and to love one
another fiercely.
The strength she carried through every hardship now lives in us, as do her compassion, courage, joy, and
unwavering belief that no one should ever feel alone. Though her absence leaves an ache beyond words,
the love she planted in our hearts will guide and sustain us always.
Mom, you were our queen, our strength, our joy, and the heart of our family. You were the voice we turned
to, the arms we ran into, and the steady presence that made everything feel possible. Your laughter remains woven
into our happiest memories, your wisdom will guide us when we need you most, and your love will surround us in
every family gathering, every shared meal, and every story told about you. We will honor you by loving one another
as fiercely as you loved us, caring for each other as you always did, serving others with your generosity, and
carrying your light wherever we go. Though you no longer walk beside us, you will forever live within us - shining
through your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and every life you touched. We will love, honor, and
miss you always.
May her beautiful light shine through us forever.
