Mark R Chisholm

It is with great sadness that the family of Mark R. Chisolm shares his sudden passing on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the age of 61.

Mark was born July 22, 1961, in Lorain, OH whereas he was raised by his mother until her passing in 1966. He then was raised by his foster parents John and Leonteen Stokes in Oberlin, OH.

Mark grew up in Oberlin, OH, where he attended Oberlin High School. Since he had a passion for traveling, he decided he would go to school for truck driving in Columbus, OH. Mark also loved being outdoors enjoying nature and waterparks. Due to Mark’s passion for traveling he lived in several places such as; Oberlin, OH Lorain, OH Columbus, OH St. Paul, MN, and Florida.

Mark leaves to mourn in his passing, his sister Patricia A. Byrd in Louisville, KY, an Aunt Mollie Little, in Detroit, MI and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition, leaving behind a special cousin whom he holds dear to his heart Tasha Frost.

He is preceded in his death by his mother Betty Chisolm, his maternal grandparents Jessie and Lula Mae Chisholm, brothers Jerry and Tracy Chisholm, and his foster parents.

In loving memory of Mark R. Chisolm, a viewing service will be held at Shaw Davis funeral home 34 W. 2^nd St. Columbus, OH 43201 from 1:00-2:00pm.
