Mattie Belle Jacobson

Beloved wife and mother Mattie Belle Lorbach Jacobson passed June 30, 2025 at 101 years old in Columbus, Ohio. She was born June 22, 1924 to Bessie Wilson Lorbach and Herrmann Lorbach in Newark, Ohio. Mattie attended the Ohio State University where she met her dear husband of 74 years, Earl, and proudly graduated from Ohio University with a BFA. A member of Phi Mu sorority, Mattie was also a longtime member of the Clintonville Womans Club. Mattie will live in the hearts of Earl, daughter Jill Jacobson- Bennett, son-in-law Dave Bennett, daughter Lise Jacobson, numerous cousins and the many people she touched throughout her life.
