Maureen Laugherty

Maureen "Nana" Burns Laugherty, age 85, was reunited with her daughter on September 13, 2021, in Columbus, Ohio. She was born July 17, 1936 and was a proud alumna of Grandview High School and The Ohio State University, where she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority. She was a long time teacher for Columbus City Schools.

She is preceded in death by parents Joseph and Doris Burns and her beloved daughter Ann Laugherty. She is survived by sons Joseph (Kathy) Urquhart and Patrick (Kim) Laugherty, as well as her grandchildren Kelly, Ryan, and Kara Urquhart, and Madalyn and Jack Laugherty. Nana lived a long fulfilling life and was a mother to all who needed one.

Services in her honor will be held on September 20, 2021 at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home Clintonville Chapel, 4341 N High St Columbus Ohio 43214. The family will receive guests from 2 pm to 4 pm with a memorial service beginning at 4 pm. The family asks that memorial contributions be made in Maureen's name to Kindred Hospice 540 Officenter Pl #100 Columbus Ohio 43230.
