Mervin R Colgan Sr.

Mervin (Muggy) R Colgan Sr, Age 60 passed away on June 16th 2026 at home in Marion Oh, surrounded by his children. Born in Delaware Oh on July 3rd 1965. He was the son of Richard (Dick) and Esther Colgan. He attended Rutherford B Hayes high school. He was employed at Good Will and Flying J. He was a family man and enjoyed being with his grandkids. He loved his Ford memorabilia. He will be remembered for his jokes and being such a caring man and for being a Ford enthusiast. He is survived by his children Richard (Tonya) Pancake of Ashley Oh, John Colgan of Delaware Oh, Mervin (Lisa) Colgan Jr of Grove City Oh, Sierra (Greg) Firstenberger of Marion Oh, and Rachel (Michael ) Bush of Marion Oh. Grandchildren Christopher Hall, Ellie Eckard, Mason, Malchi and Mariah Pancake, Taylor Barrett, and Leroy Seitter Jr. His sisters Janie, Susie, and Sarah. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Norman, brother in law Howard, and, granddaughter Liberty Colgan. The memorial service will be held on July 3, 2026 @ 11am to 1 pm at McKinley Park at 1000 McKinley Park Blvd Marion Oh, 43302. Followed by a graveside burial at 2 pm at Marlboro Cemetery 5270 Horseshoe Rd Delaware Oh, 43015.
