Michael J. Boyle

Michael J. Boyle, 81, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and service. He was the devoted husband of his beloved wife, Judy (Kane) Boyle, with whom he shared 56 beautiful years of marriage.

Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, Mickey learned the values of dedication and community early in life. He proudly went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force. Mickey was a family man at heart, deeply proud of his children, Tim (and his wife, Tara) and Karri Boyle. He adored his five grandchildren—Colin, Kendall, Sidney, Elliott, and Quinn—who brought immense joy to his life. Mickey is also survived by his loving siblings, Jacqueline (Thomas) Barrett, Daniel (Dennie) Boyle, Terri (Steve) Mahin, Mary (Bud) Ponikvar, and Kathy (Mike) Stehura, as well as many extended family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Vincent and Mary Helen Boyle; his brother-in-law, Robert Palma; and his mother and father-in-law, Eloise and James Kane. Mickey is now resting in eternal peace, reunited with the two puppies he loved so dearly Maggie and Maya.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on July 11th, 2026, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, located at 9633 State Route 37 East, Sunbury, Ohio. A luncheon will immediately follow the service to continue sharing memories and celebrating Mickey’s life.

In lieu of flowers or traditional donations, the family kindly asks that you consider contributing in Mickey’s name to your favorite charity of choice or to Hospice of Central Ohio.
