Michael "Mike" Dailey

Aug 17, 1947 — Oct 14, 2026

Michael “Mike” Dailey went home to the Lord on October 14, 2026, where he was reunited with his beloved wife, Linda, his parents, siblings, and many cherished family members and friends.

Mike proudly served his country in the National Guard and dedicated nearly 30 years to the Columbus Division of Police. He remained active in retired officers’ organizations, the American Legion, and the Blue Knights.

He is survived by four children and their spouses, nine grandchildren and their spouses, two great-grandchildren, one brother, three sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.

Mike loved a good meal, old movies, telling stories, and especially delighting in the reactions of unsuspecting family and friends to his scare pranks.

A man of deep faith, Mike found great peace in knowing he would one day be welcomed home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His greatest joy was knowing that his children and grandchildren shared his love for the Lord and were assured of their salvation.

Family and friends are invited to gather Friday, November 6, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home in Clintonville.
