Michelle Rene Pinnell

Michelle Rene Garner, born June 10, 1956, passed away January 17, 2026 in Columbus. She graduated from Adrian College with a B.A. 1978 and from the University of Michigan with a masters in social work 12/22/1979. In 1982 she became a lifetime member of the International M.I.N.D.S. Association. Her certificate that hung on her office wall said it all about Shelly: “Enlightening the world, on person at a time.” June 20th, 1986 she received her Counselor and Social Worker Ohio license to practice independently.

I met Shelly as a lonely somewhat scared man at a time of mutual need to seek something better. 37 years later we’ve had a good marriage and a sensitive, kind daughter Rachel, who is bravely over coming her shyness living in Japan. During my time with Shelly, and from the outset, she was relentlessly driven to learn how to heal herself and others, and to lead a Spirit focused life. In the last case, however, she would sometime exclaim "Im not doing it right!". She kept trying anyway and did so for 46 plus years as a therapist, great friend to others, and in SVH travels with world peace and healing focus. Even when weak from her illness she traveled to Egypt this fall with the SVH group. In recent years she connected with her brothers Bill and Richard who walk their own spiritual paths. I deeply miss Shelly, but she has promised to look down on us with the deep love she lived.

Shelly Pinnell is an outstanding energy psychotherapist and workshop leader. Her work takes individuals deeply into the body to heal “miscreations” and explore higher states of consciousness. She has developed techniques such as Hands Free Healing, “as part of her Spiritually Guided Healing Program”. Shelly uses unique abilities acquired from working with thousands of clients, to virtually assist adaptation to the rapid body changes the Ne Earth energies are triggering. She also helps to call forth these abilities in those desiring to advance their own healing skills. Thera are many changes coming in 2017. Everything is moving faster. It’s part of the divine order that we must accept and move forward. We are moving from a cycle based system into a pulse based system into the Age of Aquarius, an extension of the ascension process leading to a higher dimensional state where we are increasing our frequency from a 3 D state to a 5 D spirit form. Shelly enjoyed gardening, crafts, travel, alternative art, metaphysics and sewing as well as fruit, cheese and ice cream. Her favorite color was turquoise.

Shelly lived fully, loved passionately and never knew a stranger. She reminded all who came in contact with her either in person or through the universal energy that miracles are possible. Never stop searching or believing in SPIRIT. She was our ‘Dolly Parton’; an energy light spark, always fashionable, big smile and laugh, leaving fairy dust everywhere. “I will always love you.”
