Miguel Perez Tapia

It is with great sorrow to announce that Miguel Perez Tapia, 50, of Dublin, Ohio, has passed away on May 13, 2025. Born in Santa Isabel Cholula, Puebla, Mexico on October 15, 1974 to Leonso Perez and Esperanza Tapia, he spent most of his life in the U.S., where he built a humble, loving legacy through hard work, faith, and devotion. Starting out as a dishwasher, his work ethic and motivation led him to gain the title of restaurant manager at Jason’s Deli. Despite life’s hardships, he brought so much joy into the community. His greatest pride was his family: a devoted husband to Remedios, his wife and best friend of 30 years, and a loving father to Chelsy and Bryan. Selfless and full of life, Miguel cherished evenings watching movies with his family, cheering for his soccer team Club América, and sharing his Sonidero spirit through music that united everyone. His playful side was shown in his TikToks, where he spread laughter with memes and glimpses into his adventures. He is survived by his wife, Remedios; children, Chelsy and Bryan; and countless loved ones.

Es con gran pesar que anunciamos el fallecimiento de Miguel Pérez Tapia, de 50 años, originario de Dublin, Ohio, quien partió este mundo el 13 de mayo de 2025. Nació en Santa Isabel Cholula, Puebla, México, el 15 de octubre de 1974, hijo de Leonso Pérez y Esperanza Tapia. Pasó la mayor parte de su vida en Estados Unidos, donde construyó un legado de humildad y amor a través del trabajo duro, la fe y la dedicación. Comenzó como lavatrastes, pero su ética de trabajo y motivación lo llevaron a convertirse en gerente del restaurante Jason’s Deli.
