Miranda 'Mandy' Lewis

Miranda (Mandy) Nicole Lewis, 29, of Grandview passed away December 26, 2020, at her mother's home after a short but courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in San Diego, California on August 2, 1991. Mandy was a unique young woman-gregarious, fun-loving, empathetic, outgoing, and crazy at times. She laughed a lot and loved music from Bach to Broadway to Christian to Elton John to country to jazz and rap.

She is survived by her mother, Anne Haggard Shearer (Mama); sister Cortney Shearer 'The Minion'; grandparents George 'Papa' and Dottie 'Grammie' Haggard; uncles  Pete (Jen) Haggard and Andy (Sarah) Haggard and Aunt Shannon; six cousins Zach, Laura, Gus, Lucy, Zoe, Sally and Allie Mae; her beloved support dog, Jack; family cat 'My Dude'; beloved boyfriend Chris Elting or Christopher David when he was in trouble. A private family graveside service will be held. Donations may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
