Misty Dawn Waits

Misty Dawn Waits, 47, of Columbus, OH, passed away on May 8th, 2026 in her home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born January 12th, 1979 to Leatha Reaper and Steven Waits.

Misty is survived her sister Christina (Waits) Cantwell, Christina's husband, children, and grandchildren. Stepparents: Lee Nash and Regeina Waits and each of their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Also survived by her Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

She was proceeded in death by Grandparents: Melvin Reaper and Marion McLaughlin, Geno and Ellen Buzzelli, Parents: Steven Waits and Leatha (Reaper) Nash, Stepbrother Randy McDaniel, and her Aunts and Uncles.

Misty loved shopping, food, and her family.

A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday July 18, 2026 at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home Clintonville Chapel, 4341 North High Street Columbus, Ohio 43214. Visitation will take place at from 11am to 12pm, with the Memorial Service to follow at 12pm.
