Nicolas E Lloyd

Nicolas Edward Lloyd (aged 29) passed away on the morning of February 15th at home surrounded by his family.  Nick battled cancer valiantly for over 2 years before succumbing.  The people who knew him best, his mom and dad Kathy and Steve Podlasiak, viewed his tremendous desire to beat the disease.  His angels at The James Cancer Hospital and Ohio Health Hospice worked with Nick on his journey.  A 2011 graduate of Bexley High School and then the online My Computer Career program showed Nick’s exceptional wizardry in computers.
Nick is survived by his parents, Grandmother Donna Sullivan of Dellroy, Ohio, Brothers Scott (Courtney) of Dublin and Brian of Washington DC, Sister Sarah of Columbus, several aunts and uncles as well as cousins.  The world is a little less bright due to his absence but his memory will live on to those that knew him best.  His life, while short, was truly a blessing and a memory to treasure forever.
A celebration of Nick’s life will be observed Saturday March 11 at 10 am at Stonybrook Methodist Church in Gahanna starting at 10 am.  A short receiving of guests will be followed by a service and reception at the Church.  Family and friends are welcomed to share in our remembrance of a life taken way too soon, but deeply loved and missed.
