Patricia Margaret Murphy

Patricia Margaret Murphy, 78, of Westerville, passed away on Saturday, July 9th, 2022. Patricia passed away surrounded by her loved ones, after a difficult two-year battle with lung cancer. She was born on January 1st, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Eugene and Margaret Stanley. She is predeceased by, father, Eugene Stanley; mother, Margaret (Lear) Stanley; brother, Robert Stanley. She is survived by her extended and diverse family—her brother, Bill Stanley; her three daughters, Tammy (Rod) Whitlatch, Trudie (William) Miller, Teri (Mike Mason) Murphy; her loving husband of nearly 30 years, Joseph Weible; his three children, Joseph (Denise), Linda, and Mike (Cathy) Weible; her 9 grandchildren; and countless other loved ones. Patricia graduated from Madeira High School in Cincinnati, and went on to graduate from The Ohio State University pursuing teaching. Anyone who knew Patricia, Pat, or Patty knew she would do anything for her friends, family, and community. She loved music, nature, baskets, animals, and chocolate. She was a long-time volunteer and president of Humane Society of Delaware County. Patricia will be forever loved and remembered. Patricia requested a celebration of life to be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Patricia’s loved ones and friends to join us in celebrating her life. Family will receive friends from 1-2:30pm Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at LINWORTH ROAD CHURCH, 5400 Linworth Rd, Columbus, OH 43235 with a memorial service to follow from 2:30-3pm.
