Patrick James Connor, surrounded by his family, went to be with our Lord and savior on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Pardoned from cancer, he is now fully healed in the arms of Jesus.
Born to James and Gina Connor on February 13, 1986 in Columbus, Ohio, Patrick was happy and lovable from the very beginning. In his time here on earth his infectious smile and devoted soul influenced and touched so many lives. He loved watching sports, playing baseball, and golfing. Pat was happiest when he was surrounded and spending time with people. Laughing, telling stories, learning from or teaching others.
Graduating from St. Timothy grade school and Bishop Watterson High School (’04), Patrick went on to receive a BA in Business and fulfilled his dream of playing baseball in college at Otterbein University (’08). He later proudly received his MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and his CPA and CFP certifications. He worked as a Financial Advisor at Hamilton Capitol and said this was his true calling, he genuinely loved his job. Patrick’s professional passion and success was in working with people, networking, and helping clients meet their financial goals. His charm, professionalism, leadership and hard work were contagious and effective.
Otterbein is also where Patrick met his soul mate, Kacey Connor. Their love was so special, so true. They wed on August 27, 2011 and together they have Quinn Ellen Connor (age 6), Hazel Mae Connor (age 4) and Everett James Connor (age 2). Kacey and the kids are Patrick’s self-proclaimed greatest accomplishments and joy. All are reflections of his love, faith and beauty.
Patrick was greeted in heaven by his paternal grandparents, Daniel and Ellen Connor, and maternal grandfather, Frank Guarasci.
In addition to his wife, children and parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Lea Guarasci, sisters Danielle Costine (Chris) and Lea McMillan (Walter), in-laws Shawn and June Young (Kami and Kara), nephews (Josh, Jared, Lukx, Evan and Elijah), a very large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends he considered family. Always loved…forever missed…never forgotten.
Patrick was a very spiritual man. He and Kacey have been attending members of Westerville Christian Church for 11 years and made the decision to be baptized together on January 23rd, 2013. He was involved in many church activities including; teaching children's ministry and leading Financial Peace University. Westerville Christian held a special place in Pat’s heart and will no doubt continue to foster his family's relationship in community with the Lord.
A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Westerville Christian Church, 471 E. College Ave Westerville OH, 43081. There will be no visitation/calling hours before or after the celebration. In lieu of flowers Patrick expressed his desire for any memorial tributes to be made in the form of a contribution to be used for the upbringing of his three children.
