Paul Edward Delong

Paul Edward DeLong, 75, of London, Ohio, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, May 22, 2026.

Born in Gahanna, Ohio to Richard and Catherine DeLong on September 27, 1950, he was the youngest of three boys.

He grew up in Gahanna, Ohio and graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 1969. He spent his career as a

maintenance millwright at Buckeye Steel Castings in Columbus, Ohio. Paul loved staying busy doing anything mechanical.

He was always fixing something. He always had a story to tell that was sure to make you laugh. He was always right there

when you needed him.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, his brother Lawrence Lathan DeLong and his father-in-law Lawrence "Mickey" Peck.

He is survived by his loving wife Laura DeLong, his brother Clarence DeLong(along with nieces and a nephew), his mother-in-law Linda Peck,

his children Heather(Scott)Rigsby, Cynthia(Ronald)Webb, April(Gary)Howard, Joshua(Patricia)Church, and Samantha DeLong. His grandchildren

Cole, Cheyenne, Jayden, Trenton, Caleb, Lincoln, Gabriel, Adalynn, Aubrie, Gunnar and Logan. He has two great grandsons and another one

on the way that he was incredibly excited to meet.

This is not goodbye....We'll see you later Honey, Dad, Papaw!

There will be a celebration of life for Paul at a later date this summer.
