In Loving Memory of Richard C. Pichon

On August 16, 2025, at the age of 87, Richard C. Pichon left this world peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on May 28, 1938, in Lakewood, Ohio, Richard’s life was defined by his warmth, intelligence, and unwavering devotion to those he loved most. His greatest joy was always found in his family, who will carry his memory forward with deep affection and gratitude.

Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife Patricia Pichon, his second wife Shirley Pichon, his parents Richard and Edna Pichon, and his brother David.

He is survived by his loving children: Rick (Marcia) Cook, Chuck Cook, Nancy (Chris) Trembley, and Clark (Jennifer) Pichon. Richard was a proud grandfather to Chaz (Melissa) Trembley, Hanna (Jay) Jackson, Dylan Pichon, and Chase Pichon, and a joyful great-grandfather to Logan Trembley, Izzy Jackson, and Sabrina Trembley. He also leaves behind his devoted sister Nancy (Tom) Dial, along with his cherished nieces and nephew: Jen (Jonathan) Santoro, Tom (Emmy) Dial, and Tiffany (Andy) Tracy.

Those who knew Richard will remember him not only for his kind and generous heart, but also for his many passions. He loved the thrill of racing, the beauty of classical music, and the calm of sailing. He cherished time spent with family and friends—whether watching football, debating politics, or sharing laughter and stories that will long be remembered.

Though Richard’s passing leaves an irreplaceable emptiness, his legacy of love, wisdom, and compassion will continue to inspire his family and friends for generations to come.

A private family service will be held to honor Richard’s life and memory.
