Richard "Rick" Anelick

Richard “Rick” D. Anelick, age 63, of Westerville, loss his battle with cancer on Sunday July 5, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Penny, sons Christopher (Amber) and Matthew (Brooklynn); grandchildren Kyle, Tyler, Halie, Quintin, Alex, and Charlie; sisters Gayle, Penny, and Michelle; as well as many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Bonnie and father Richard. Rick was a proud graduate of North High School and maintained lifelong friendships with many classmates. He was an avid Ohio State fan and worked in the press box at the home football games for several years. Rick shared numerous hobbies with friends and family over the years, including camping, fishing, golf, billiards, gardening, and basketball. He lived life to the fullest and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Services will be held on Friday July 17, 2020 at Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes Clintonville Chapel, 4341 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43214. The family will receive guests from 4 pm to 6 pm, followed by a funeral service at 6 pm.
