Rick Herman

Rick Herman passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 49 years of age. While he was taken too soon, his memory will live on through all of his loved ones. 

Rick was born in Kettering, Ohio and was the youngest of Jim and Arlene Herman’s five children. He grew up with his elder siblings Mark, Deanne, Karen, and Jann. After high school he attended Northeastern University where he graduated from the College of Engineering in 1999. Rick met his wife Stephanie Haver in Columbus, Ohio where they were married in 2006. They built a beautiful life together and brought two beautiful girls into the world, Eva and Nola Herman. The girls grew up in a home filled with their father’s love of the Red Sox, vacations to Cape Cod, music, and his famous sense of humor. Eva and Nola will forever be influenced by their 711 and all of his passions. 

Rick passed away peacefully in his home where he was cared for by hospice. The room was full of love, music, tears, stories, and laughter. He passed away shortly after midnight surrounded by his three best friends, niece, sister, wife, girls, and dog.
