Rick Howell

Rick D Howell, age 65, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 29th 2020 in the comfort of his own home. He retired as a volunteer fireman with Prairie Township and retired from Kroger after 35 years of service. After retirement he enjoyed working at Ace Hardware. He and his wife Carol loved to attend car shows together, as he always had a love for cars and enjoyed taking care of his own. He is preceded in death by his parents. Rev. Rufford and Olive Howell. He is survived by his wife, Carol of Lewis Center; his two daughters Kimberly Howell (Joe) and Kelly Forrest (Brian); sister, Nella Lombard of Galloway; his two step daughters, Emily Pierpoint and Jodi (Keith) Lloyd; grandchildren, Makayla Boysel, Jackson Forrest, Madison Forrest, Nicholas Mitchell, Caroline Mitchell, Dakota and Sam; Ashley Fisher and Justin Fisher; nephew Erick Lombard; nieces Lora (Mike) Strongosky and Jennifer (Travis) Chaney; extended family and friends. A celebration of Rick Howell’s life will be held with a visitation at 11am-1pm Saturday, March 7th and funeral service beginning at 1pm March 7th at Genoa Baptist Church 7562 Lewis Center Rd, Westerville Ohio 43082. Final resting place will be at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 West Broad Street, Galloway Ohio 43119.
