Robert Gleason

Robert (Bob) L. Gleason, 78, of Dublin, OH passed away at the Kobacker Hospice House on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.  He was born May 25, 1938 to Firman and Pauline (Evers) Gleason. Bob was a 1956 graduate of Lyons High School.  He served in the Army from 1959-1962.  He received a BA degree from University of Toledo in 1994 and a Master of Divinity degree from Methodist Theological School in Ohio in 2000.  Bob is survived by his partner Sam Hinkle (Dublin, OH); children Troy (Julie) Gleason (Naperville, IL), Jennifer (Dan) Shoults (Westerville, OH), Lori Boltz (MI), Jackie (Bill) Westgate (MI); grandchildren – Grace and Olivia (Troy’s), Sam and Addison (Jen’s), Cathy, Michael, Ashley, Paul (Lori’s), Dustin and Tiffany (Jackie’s), and several great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brothers Richard (Cheryl) and Jim (Carol) Gleason.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Norman and Jerry Gleason.  His sense of humor, orneriness, and creativity will be greatly missed.  A private memorial will be held.  Arrangements are being handled by Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, 34 W. 2nd Avenue, Columbus, Ohio.  Friends and family may visit online http://www.shaw-davis.com/listings to share memories or to extend condolences.
