Robin “Lee” Nedved

December 5th 1961 - June 10th, 2025

The world became a little less bright on June 10, 2025, with the passing of Robin Lee Nedved. He left this world peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones in Columbus, Ohio.

Born on December 5th, 1961, Robin spent much of his life in Gahanna, Ohio. Known to nearly everyone as “Beaz,” he was a man who never met a stranger and made fast friends everywhere he went. With his quick wit and big heart, Beaz had a unique ability to bring people together and make them feel like family.

Beaz started his own business in 1998 and carried that entrepreneurial spirit throughout his life. But more than anything, he was proud to be a dad to his three daughters. From tubing adventures at Lake White to creek walks behind Friendship Park, from cheering on the sidelines, to celebrating their wins (big and small), he showed a deep and unmistakable pride in who they were becoming.

Beaz always lived for the kind of moments that made the best stories later. Whether he was on the golf course, poker table, playing softball, or tossing bags in a game of cornhole, he brought joy, humor, and heart to everything he did. He had a rare gift for making life feel lighter and reminding everyone around him not to take things too seriously, to be kind, and to soak in the joy wherever it could be found.

He is survived by his daughters Angie (Jacob), Sarah (Brian), and Lizzie (Brandon); his siblings Rick (Dema) and Renee (Mike); and a wide circle of devoted friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Ann Nedved, and his brother Randy.

To know Beaz was to love him and to laugh with him. His unforgettable spirit, deep loyalty, and one-of-a kind personality will be missed beyond what words can capture.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 27th at 1:00 PM at the VFW Post 9857, 2330 Stelzer Road, for all who wish to gather, remember, and raise a glass in his honor.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the James Cancer Research Hospital at www.cancer.osu.edu.
