Robin A. Turner, born on 10-22-1962 in Columbus, Ohio, to Roger Burks and Barbra Hoover.
She is proceeded in death by her sweet angels, David Bull Jr. & Jeremy Turner, Fathers Roger Burks, Dicky Hoover, and sister, Diane Cooper.
Robin leaves behind her sons, CJ (Keri) Bull, Jeffrey (Lauren) Turner, her sweet Mothers, Barb Hoover and Wanda Burks, siblings, Carl, Sonny, Clay, Tammy, Katrina, Bill, Tim, Mary, Brenda & Steve, including spouses and children, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Robin had many names, her favorite being Grandma to her grandson Erik, who gave her the name “Red Robin,” followed by “Gammy,” fondly given by her granddaughters Harlie, Quinn and Paige.
Red Robin suited her. She thrived as a Grandma and found a new love for life when she took on this title. She would take many late night trips with Erik, and then soon switched to getting nails done, carnivals and the zoo with the girls.
She couldn’t remember her passwords, but she knew everything about her Buckeyes and Browns!
On top of everything, she loved deeply. She was mouthy and sassy, but yet, when it came down to it, she always showed up!
She is what some of us would call “extra”. She was extra late to everything, extra blingy when it came to jewelry, extra when it came to giving gifts, extra loud, extra opinionated, and she liked her steak extra well done, but not dry. She liked her sweets extra sweet!
Some things about Robin that made her Robin were, she was always bringing or buying you something. She knew no stranger, her favorite color was purple, and she loved butterflies, angels, horses, Harley Davidsons, and cardinals. She loved country music and red back hymnals.
At the end of the day, Robin knew Jesus, and found peace knowing her two sons were going to be waiting for her one day. It brings us comfort in knowing she longed to hold and love on David Jr. and Jeremy, and that she may now have eternal peace.
To those who knew and loved Robin, we ask you to join us for her celebration of life on December 11th, with visitation at 11am, and funeral starting at 12 noon. It will be held at Judah Tabernacle, 3176 S. High Street, Columbus Ohio, graciously officiated by family life time friend and Pastor, Jeff Leslie.
