Art attended Linden-McKinley High School. Over the years, Art was known for his larger-than-life personality, his unpredictable spirit, and his love for fishing and coffee. He had a way of keeping life interesting. Art is preceded in death by his wife Rosalyn Lusear-Street, parents Jessie and Teretha Street, Siblings Louwida Street, Lawanda Street, and Marvin Street.

Art is survived by his daughters Q-tay Street, Tiffany Lusear and Teretha (Marcus) Lusear-Ferguson, and stepson Douglas Lusear. His siblings Coreta (William) Underwood, Patrica (Trent) Anderson, Arshenda (Mattie) Street, 5 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, families and friends.
