Sharon Lynn Cotter

Sharon Lynn Cotter (Owens), age 71, of London, Ohio passed away on October 1, 2025 at OSU Medical Center, after a short battle with an unexpected illness. She was born on March 2, 1954 in Chanute, Kansas to William F. And Glennice B. Owens.

Sharon married Richard, her husband of 54 years, on April 2, 1971. She spent many years in the banking and landscaping industries until her retirement when she and Richard moved to Lake Choctaw in London, Ohio. She enjoyed gardening and all that nature had to offer, especially watching the hummingbirds. She also loved spending time with her family and friends, making lasting memories. Sharon will be remembered for her caring personality and her unwavering conviction of character.

Sharon is survived by her husband Richard; children Jennifer Jimison (Michael) and Brandi Cordell (Brian); and grandchildren Emma Jimison and Kaitlyn Jimison; as well as the rest of her loving extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Linda Gray and her grandparents.
