Shawn Parker Harley

Shawn Parker Harley, 53, of Columbus OH, passed away on July 30, 2026. He will be remembered with deep love and gratitude by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born on December 7, 1972 in Columbus, Shawn lived a life marked by kindness, humor, and a dedication to family. Shawn found joy in spending time with family and friends. He was especially proud of his daughter Amber and grandbabies.

Shawn is survived by daughter Amber and Son In-law Mike Babyak, Brother James Phillips, Brother Michael and Paula Phillips, Brother Daniel and Tracie Phillips, Grandchildren Madison, Vava, and Noah Babyyak, Nephews Shayne and Holly Phillips. Nephews Logan, Samuel, and Gage Phillips, Nieces Kristen Phillps and Rhea Dent.

He was preceded in death by Mother Oretha Williamson, and Father James Harley.

A small intimate service to honor and celebrate Shawn’s life will be held privately with family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Columbus Humane to honor Shawn’s love of animals.

Shawn Harley’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him and his legacy will continue through the many lives that he has touched.
