Shirley Newton

Mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Shirley A. Newton born April 19th,1957 (64) passed away on Thursday, August 5th, 2021. After a long fight with her AML (Acute Myeloid  Leukemia) she was given 6 months, and beat all odds. She fought for two years after given this time line. Shirley was married to James M. Newton (deceased 2007)

Survived by her children: Shina, Michelle, Ashley, Rachel, and twin daughters Erin and Lindsey. Also survived by her 16 grandchildren: Lelani, Elijah Micheal,  Nadia, Quynton, Ashton, King, Juliana, Julius Jr. (deceased 2008), Kamya, Taliyahl Latoria, Lyric, Jackie, William, Aries, And Harper. Also 2 great grandbabies: Ailani, and Avianna. Sister to Walter, and Renee. Shirley had a associates in Accounting, graduated from Franklin University. She was a STNA, and worked for Anthem blue cross and blue shield. Shirley dedicated her life to helping others.

The family will receive guests on Friday, August 20th, 2021 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes Clintonville Chapel, 4341 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214.
