Stephen Douglas Carter, “Doug Doug”, born May 5, 1955, passed away unexpectedly December 20, 2015 after a long battle with diabetes and heart problems. Preceded in death by parents Archie and Augusta Carter and niece Nicole Hazlett. Survived by wife Marcina Carter; daughter Sara (Hazlett) Camus, her husband David Camus; three grandchildren Caley, Macey, and Zoey; siblings David A. Carter and Linda F. Hazlett; beloved dogs Maggie, Jack, and Herbie; many nieces and nephews; and too many friends to count. Worked at Beulah Park, Sears, The Bombay Company, and Appliance Smart. Loving father and husband. Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 29 from 6-7 pm at THE SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES, 34 W 2nd Ave, Columbus 43201, where memorial service will follow at 7 pm.
