Tami Marie Caster

In Loving Memory of Tami Marie Caster 61. Went home to be with the Lord on Sunday February-18-2024. She passed away with the loving support of her children by her side at OSU Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. 

Tami was born on August-12-1962 in Wadsworth, Ohio to parents Lois Marie Caster and Richard Bliss Caster. Tami has lived all over the United States over the years, but she has always came back. She knew Ohio to be home. She became a long term resident of Barberton and was a Barberton Highschool graduate! She raised 2 children, Richard A. Deckard and Rhiannon M. Deckard in Barberton, Ohio. After her children were raised she decided in 2016 to move to Caldwell, Ohio where she lived peacefully until her passing. 

Tami in her younger years was a head cashier/clerk to many retailers including Hills and Gold Circle those being her favorite. She then went on to graduate from Portage Lakes Carrier Center in Green,Ohio. She became a medical assistant and worked private duty from 1999 to 2013. She loved her career and taking care of people was a huge passion of hers. She also loved music, flowers, nature, cooking/baking and her pets! 

Her four grandchildren became her strength, symbol of Hope, and her inspiration to continue to endure the life she did. Tami was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend! She was always full of life, laughter and charisma. She always brought joy to others! 

Tami is proceeded in death by her parents Lois M. Chapman and Richard B. Caster. Tami is survived by her children Richard A. Deckard and Rhiannon M. Deckard, grandchildren Madison Surface, Kayden Surface, Lincoln Surface, Coralynn Surface her sister and brother-in-law Lori and Anthony Hanna, nieces Kristy Hanna and Jessica Ciccolini and children, close friends Michael Lucas, Vicki Carver, Linda Gosnell, Laura Whipkey and many others.
