Tammy Janean (Mosley) Burton, 67, of Columbus, Ohio, went home to be with her loved ones on Saturday, August 16, 2025. She was born in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Luther Mosley and Georgia (Sanford) Mosley. Tammy graduated from Springfield North High School on June 4, 1975, and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central State University.
She is survived by her daughter, Amber Burton; Stepson Winston Burton Jr ;brothers, Gary Bray and Greg Gilmore; grandson, Roy Allen Robinson II; special nephews, Milliard Michael Dixon Jr. and Steven Brantley; special nieces, LayToya (Brantley) Simpkins, Leila Head, and Chany Mosley; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Tammy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Winston Burton; parents, Luther and Georgia Mosley; sisters, Gloria (Mosley) Dixon and Jana Bray; brothers, Steven Mosley, Kevin Lenny Bray, Jonathan Bray, and Luther “Bootsie” Bray.
Tammy loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, dancing, and eating good food. She was always smiling, laughing, and truly the life of the party.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
