Ted Allan Bare

Ted Allan Bare, 70, of Johnstown passed April 12th, 2025 with family by his side after a courageous battle of Multiple Myeloma complicated by Pneumonia.

Ted was a retired independent flooring contractor for over 40 years. You could always find him enjoying the simple things: a good cup of coffee, a broken in pair of converse, taking a ride on his motorcycle, or playing in the backyard with his grandkids & great grandchildren. He loved being surrounded by his family.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Herbert and Ruth Bare, his two brothers Herbert and Hobert Bare, and his middle daughter Angela K Taylor (Bare).

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Vickey K Bare; children, Tedra Bare, and Patricia (Chad) Russell; grandchildren Xyla Taylor, Cassondra (Brennan) Angus, Katelyn Cramer, Kylee Cramer, Caden Russell and Cali Russell. Great grandchildren; Cohen and Avalynn Angus. Also his sister; Lyna Penwell and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on July 19th, 2025 from 5-8 at the Bare residence in Johnstown.
