Theodore Vernon Pemberton Sr.

Theodore Vernon Pemberton Sr. “TED”, age 67, passed away Saturday January 20th, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio. 

He loved and enjoyed anything about chickens. Ted also loved to hunt and fish. He was an avid guitar player as well. If you were around Ted, you heard his guitar play. 

Preceded in death by wife Rhonda Pemberton; parents Lawrence and Mildred Pemberton; six siblings Garnet, Lawrence Jr., Leroy, Harry, Millie, and Howard (Barbara). 

Survived by children Tj, Bryan, and Delora (David) Hopson; grandchildren Allie, Emily (Yovani), Jennifer, Rebecca, Alyssa, Adison, Jaelyn, Sydney, Carter, and David; great-grandchildren Amora and Yovani Jr.; brothers Dave (Candace) and Stan (Dorothy); special friends Ray Lohn, Maria, and Krystal; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Visitation will take place at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home Short North Chapel, 34 West 2nd Ave Columbus, Ohio 43201 on Friday January 26, 2024 from 11am to 12pm. Funeral Service to start at 12pm with Pastor Richard Jones officiating. Burial to follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Hilliard, Ohio.
