Tyrone Porter passed away on September 18, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on December 30, 1958, in Cambridge, England. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle Porter and Paul Porter. Tyrone will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Courtney Porter, and his granddaughter, Gege Flowers. He is also survived by his brothers, Michael Williams and Dwayne Porter; his sisters, Beverly Porter and Cynthia Porter; his stepbrother, Wayman Harrell Jr. (Carla); his former stepmother, Lela Porter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Monday, October 12, 2026 

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Funeral Service 

3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. 

Both the visitation and funeral service will be held at Shaw-Davis Clintonville Chapel, 4341 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214. 

Family and friends are invited to gather to remember, honor, and celebrate Tyrone’s life and the lasting memories he leaves with all who knew and loved him.
