Van Carpenter

Van Carpenter, Vietnam veteran and loving father and grandfather,
passed away on March 21, 2022, after valiantly battling leukemia and
other health issues for decades.  He left a legacy of love and deep
commitment to his surviving daughters, Lindsay and Leslie Carpenter,
his grandson, Khalid Carpenter, his sister Darla Johnson, his nephew
Lyle Johnson, and the many friends and neighbors whose lives he
touched.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Rexford and Frances
Carpenter of Coshocton, Ohio, his brother-in-law Gary Johnson, and his
nephew Todd Johnson of Florida.

A celebration of Van’s life will take place at Shaw-Davis Funeral
Home, 4341 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio, from 1:00-3:00 pm on
Monday, March 28, 2022.
