Virginia Jo Huffman

            In loving memory of Virginia Jo Huffman,  who departed from our lives on April 17^th , 2023.  Jenny to those who knew her  was born on July 12,1956 to Paul and Mary Porter (Young) in  Columbus, Ohio. She  grew up in Gallia county where she attended Gallia Academy High School, and later obtained her GED through Buckeye Hills Career enter.

            Jenny’s  life was characterized by her unwavering commitment to her passions and her dedication to her loved ones. She was a jack of all trades  throughout her working career. Some of her jobs included road construction, trustee, commissioner, phlebotomist, truancy officer, bus driver and earning retirement from the school system.

           Beyond her professional achievements, Jenny was a pillar of strength and support to her family and friends. She was known for her undying kindness, her sense of humor, and her ability to always be there when needed. Her presence brightened the lives of all who knew her.

           In 1979 on Jenny’s birthday she married Ronald (Ronnie) Huffman the love of her life, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a life  full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Together they raised five kids Tony, Terry, Amy, Lori Huffman; Paula Maynard; They adopted their granddaughter Madison Preston and cared for her brother their grandson Quinton Preston, all who survives her.

          Jenny Jo’s  passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her,  but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace, and may her legacy of love and compassion continue to inspire us all.
