Virginia Peebles

March 2, 1934 — January 9, 2024

Virginia "Ginny" Ann Peebles of Dublin, age 89, passed away at the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024. Ginny was born March 2nd, 1934, to the late Benjamin and Laura Dunham. Ginny married Ronald G. Peebles on August 20, 1954; they had met while Ron was training as an X-Ray technician and Ginny was working as a secretary for the Tuberculosis Society.

Ginny loved getting her hair and nails done, going to craft shows, playing cards, being at a JCPenney sale by 7am on a Saturday, making cheeseballs, enjoying a lot of onion on everything, Frank Sinatra, watching football, and her movies and snacks from bed at nighttime.

Ginny is survived by her children, daughters Susan (Mike) O'Farrell of Sunbury, Michele (Tim) Loney of Westerville, and Cherise (Pat) Johnson of Baltimore; and sons Michael (Cris; daughter Amy, son Adam) of Pataskala and Josh (Erin; granddogs Daisy, Elvis) of Dublin.

She is also survived by her grandsons Shane O'Farrell, Seth and Caleb Korzenborn, and Aiden Johnson; her granddaughters Sarah Loney, Ashley (Billy; son Ryan, daughter Elizabeth) Brubaker, Kelsey (son Mitchell) O’Farrell, and Israel Johnson; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Additional incredible family members survived by Ginny are Laura (Tom; daughter Kelsey) McBride, Shalene Leddingham, Taylor (daughter Lauren) Leddingham, Andria (George) Canning, Annette (AJ; son Drew, Ryan) Iarussi, Michelle (Huck; daughters Kayla, Layla, and son Charlie) Williams, Michael (Alex; daughters Kate, Paige and son Luke) Buerger, Marlene (Lenny) Moore, Magda (son David, daughter Megan) VanFossen, and Tim (Nicole) Hartner.

She will be missed by her beloved Pitbull, Cincy, who kept her smiling and was her best pal for over 11 years.

Her son would like to thank the staff at the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing and the Hospice Team at National Church Residence (Megan, Karen, Bruce, Kelly, Tiffinay, Jasmine, Nikki, Peter) for their excellent care, kindness, and compassion.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date along with a private burial. In lieu of flowers, Ginny requested donations be made to the National Pitbull Charity at kenneltocouch.org
